Galatians 6:1. Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual seek to restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
Restoring the fallen. A ministry of gentleness.
In today’s cancel culture and societal shaming Paul’s message on spiritual restoration is so refreshing. Paul shares a teaching to restore not reject. Restoration with a heart of compassion and a spirit of gentleness. The church was not called to be a courtroom for condemnation but a children’s hospital for restoration and recovery.
